Comparing physical activity of pedal-assist electric bikes with walking and conventional bicycles

Summary:

This study found electric bicycle riders had shorter travel times and reduced exertion compared to conventional bicycle riders but still experienced moderate or vigorous physical activity while riding. Electric bicycle riders enjoyed riding more than conventional riders and had a reduced need to shower after riding.
