As our fearless leader, Jenn brings unmatched energy and focus to her work each and every day. She is bold and draws on nearly two decades of diverse professional experience and a vast bike industry and advocacy network. Jenn’s love of bicycling is the rocket fuel that powers her exceptional efforts to boost all types of riding and all bike businesses. Jenn joined PeopleForBikes in 2013 after more than a decade as a leader at IMBA. In 2023, Jenn was named one of the 50 most influential people in American cycling.
Mimi is the glue that holds the Membership and Development team together! Both approachable and solution oriented, she is our go-to for all member related needs and facilitating that our members are happy and engaged within PeopleForBikes and the greater cycling community. She loves people and building relationships with individuals from all walks of life. When not working, you can find Mimi (and her dog Olive) immersed in her local community, whether that's on a trail, seeing live music, or at one of the many breweries Colorado has to offer. She also loves to travel and explore new cooking and culinary styles.
Tangier is passionate about environmental justice and brings over a decade of project management and community engagement experience in lower-income communities and communities of color. In her current role, Tangier manages PeopleForBikes’ participation in the Better Bike Share Partnership. She is honored to be supporting the efforts of communities across the nation to create equitable bike share and micro-mobility systems. Tangier enjoys riding around Denver with her husband and two toddlers and always finds a way to explore by bicycle when she travels to new places.
With over a decade of experience in the bicycle industry, Ryan leads PeopleForBikes' communications strategy, focusing on how best to serve both our current and prospective Coalition members. As the bicycle industry's trade association, PeopleForBikes is committed to creating and sharing content that drives industry success, and Ryan plays a central role in bringing that vision to life.
Brian is passionate about connecting brands with PeopleForBikes’ mission. As a part of our Membership team, Brian combines his love for bikes with his years of experience in the bike industry to build relationships that elevate our collective voice as the U.S. bicycle industry's trade association. He is dedicated to the belief that the bicycle can serve as a transformative tool for growth and the betterment of society. When not catalyzing strong business relationships, you can find Brian in the mountains of Montana with his wife, daughter, and friends.
Alex (or Butters as she’s known around the office) handles the graphic design elements of PeopleForBikes’ marketing and communications efforts.
Brady joined PeopleForBikes’ Northwest Arkansas team after ten years years as an educator with Fayetteville Public Schools. He is a dedicated team builder, encourager and advocate for connecting people with their environments and their communities. When he is not talking about bikes and their many forms as liberating joy machines, Brady is likely to be found somewhere outside hiking, biking, canoeing and/or volunteering with local nonprofits.
Michael creates digital content to help share PeopleForBikes’ stories across platforms. He contributes photography, videography, editing and graphic design that bring our content to life. When he’s not traveling to cover our next story, you can find Michael biking around Denver, Colorado, where his love for cycling has inspired a car-free lifestyle for 14 years!
Tobie oversees the PeopleForBikes Foundation membership program and manages operations for virtual events across the PeopleForBikes network. His journey into bikes began with a need for affordable transportation but grew into a true passion when he was asked to run a bike shop, where he saw firsthand how bikes are a powerful tool to bring people together. Now living in Madison, Wisconsin, Tobie rides gravel and singletrack and is (currently) the sole bookbinder at PeopleForBikes.
Liam leads PeopleForBikes’ numerous market intelligence and research initiatives that drive the bicycle industry forward. He is a firm believer in making the world a better place through data, and what better impact to have on this country than getting more people riding bikes? He joins our team after more than a decade at Workstand/SmartEtailing, most recently as a data analyst. Bikes have literally and figuratively taken Liam places, from cross-country bike tours to daily work commutes to a velodrome in Mexico — he arguably owes it all to a banana bread "prime" on the penultimate lap of a Cat 4 bike race.
Jack is our "word wizard" and oversees all of PeopleForBikes' storytelling and content across emails, blogs, reports, press releases, and other written content. A lifelong lover of both writing and riding his bike, Jack feels as though he’s found a perfect fit being able to combine his passions working at PeopleForBikes. When not at his desk or on his bike, Jack can be found skiing, playing hockey, or finding any other excuse to go play outside.
When she's not out exploring the Vermont backcountry on her mountain bike or splitboard, Rachel is hard at work managing PeopleForBikes’ recreation and eMTB initiatives. Her passion for the outdoors and all things bikes inspires her work as an advocate for anyone looking to enjoy the benefits of pushing pedals. Before joining our team, Rachel was the executive director of a mountain bike trail organization in Vermont, creating connections and bringing the community together to build and support biking opportunities.
Maddie supports our Government Relation and Infrastructure team's policy and advocacy efforts to create safe, fun, and connected places to ride a bike across the U.S. She believes bikes have the power to make the world a better place and is particularly fond of the many positive public health outcomes attached to more people riding bikes. After spending most of her life training for and competing in the Olympics for cycling, Maddie can now be found enjoying bike rides at a much more leisurely pace that usually involve stopping for treats at a local bakery.
Martina leads PeopleForBikes' work to enhance bike infrastructure in communities across the U.S. Based in Providence, Rhode Island, when Martina isn’t working, she enjoys hiking, biking Rhode Island's scenic bike paths, and spending time with her family.
Rod works closely with the organizations and individuals that enable PeopleForBikes to build better bike riding experiences for everyone. He loves the “people” aspect of PeopleForBikes — and the fact that bike advocacy often involves opportunities to get out and ride. Rod’s proudest biking accomplishment has been teaching his kids to ride and he wished that more people realized that bikes are ‘freedom machines,’ no matter your age, where you live or your riding ability.
With a Ph.D. in environmental sociology and specialization in collaborative decision-making, Ash excels at bringing people together to solve big, complex challenges. She leads PeopleForBikes' policy and regulatory work, helping the bike industry accomplish major legislative and regulatory wins. Ash also heads engagement with PeopleForBikes’ numerous industry subcommittees including the BPSA TAC. When she is not leading our bike business work, you can find Ash biking around Colorado with her family.
Jose is responsible for developing marketing and communication strategies that serve the industry and the organization's other constituents. He brings positive energy to everything he does and loves working alongside internal and external stakeholders to find ways to make the U.S. the best place in the world to ride a bike. Jose is an inspiring team leader with a strategic mindset focused on collaborative communication and execution.
Matt Moore is completely stoked to be using his legal skills and 26 years of industry experience working with the talented PeopleForBikes' Business Network team to move the bike industry forward., Matt has volunteered at the local, state and federal levels for almost twenty years, helping to grow his hometown mountain bike trails, improve Minnesota's cycling laws and lead national advocacy efforts at the League of American Bicyclists, the Bicycle Product Suppliers Association and on PeopleForBikes' committees. In 2023 Matt will celebrate 50 years since he gave his life savings to Gene’s Bike Shop in exchange for a Mercier 10-speed - by going for a rambling bike ride! The three cats that reside with Matt and his artist wife Patti in their Minneapolis home have fully trained him in the essential bike industry skill of cat herding, although Princess Christmas Cookie is still a bit of a challenge.
Lizzy supports PeopleForBikes’ marketing and communications efforts with her graphic design wizardry. She previously helped get more people on bikes with Pittsburgh’s bike share system. Her passion for exploring better futures on and off the bike comes from her love of sci-fi and fantasy books.
Ravi leads the charge for the PeopleForBikes Business Network, which includes the bike industry's trade association, BPSA TAC, as well as the Federal, State and Local Regulatory Policy team. Ravi brings a wealth of brand, agency, industry and experiential knowledge to PeopleForBikes and is passionate about our mission of getting more people on bikes more often and the promise that PeopleForBikes’ work holds for all riders.
As our people + office manager, Kerrianne’s favorite part of her job is keeping the vibes high through planning staff events and leading our #PeopleForParties team, both of which encourage a fun work environment where everyone feels like they belong. In her downtime, Kerrianne is likely playing in the mountains on foot, skis, or two wheels.
Jayden oversees all of our email communications, touching base with a wide variety of audiences who support the mission to get people on bikes. When they’re not working on messaging, they manage the PeopleForBikes online storefront and aid in RideSpot rewards fulfillment. Jayden grew up in Boulder and learned the joy of riding bikes through competitive mountain biking. When you can't find them on the trails around the Front Range, you’ll find them enjoying Boulder and Denver to the fullest via the music, arts, and entertainment scene.
Dave works on our Infrastructure team to identify and implement policies that will transform our communities into places where bicycling is easy and safe for everyone. Based in Oakland, California, Dave is a social change entrepreneur, having founded and built powerful bicycle advocacy and transportation justice organizations locally in San Francisco and statewide in California.
JJ serves as the "people" arm for PeopleForBikes as our chief of staff. Her role is dedicated to making PFB a best-in-class place to work, solving problems, supporting teams, and as a trusted leader with her colleagues. When she's not working, she can be found racing her two-wheel companion on dirt or winning mutton-busting competitions.
Jordan joined PeopleForBikes because she sees the bike as a simple part of a solution to very complex problems and wanted to help make biking better across the country. She got her start biking thanks to her dad’s enthusiasm, and a need to commute to downtown Denver as painlessly as possible. Jordan leads the marketing team on all their campaigns to get more people on bikes more often.
